1. Heat the Machine
When rarely used, the engine will be cold. Therefore, it is important for the owner to warm up the machine for about 3 to 4 minutes, until it reaches the average working temperature of the machine at 80 to 100 degrees Celsius.
"Heating the engine is intended to keep the engine oil circulating smoothly and it is advisable not to do it in a closed room," said Endro.
2. Lubricate the Rust-Prone Parts
In a motorcycle, there are parts or components that need to be lubricated so that they don't rust, for example on the wheel chain and also other parts that rub. This is so that the component does not lose its function.
3. Pay Attention to Motor Details
When the motorbike is rarely used, the motorbike owner must also check the outside of the motorbike. For example, on automatic motorcycles, you must look at the plastic cover in all parts of the motor. Because, there is a possibility that these parts can be nested by insects or animals when the motor is rarely used.
4. Use Center Standard on Automatic Motors
It may be trivial, but actually this is important to pay attention to if the motor is rarely used. The side stand on the automatic motorcycle has another function to prevent the motor from starting when the vehicle is in that position.
